In the first quarter of 2025, the top cryptocurrency apps on iOS in Europe saw varied performance trends according to data from Sensor Tower. Here's a breakdown of the top five apps:

Binance: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto experienced notable fluctuations in weekly downloads, starting strong with over 180K in mid-January and peaking with nearly 290K downloads later that month. However, downloads gradually declined to around 61K by the end of March. Despite this, weekly active users remained robust, peaking at over 4.4M in January, before slightly decreasing to approximately 3.3M by the end of the quarter.

Pi Network showed a significant increase in downloads during February, reaching a peak of approximately 355K. This was reflected in the active user count, which surged from 890K at the beginning of February to over 2M by the end of the month. However, a gradual decline in both metrics was observed towards the end of the quarter.

Crypto.com: Buy BTC, ETH & CRO started the quarter with strong download numbers, peaking at nearly 184K in January, before declining steadily to around 27K by March end. Active users showed a similar trend, starting at about 1.3M in January and decreasing to approximately 945K by the end of March.

Phantom - Crypto Wallet experienced an initial spike in downloads, reaching over 216K in January, but this number decreased significantly to just over 11K by the end of March. Active users also saw a downward trend, starting at 630K in January and falling to about 344K by the end of the quarter.

Lastly, Bybit: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto observed an increase in downloads early in the quarter, peaking at about 118K in January. However, similar to other apps, a gradual decline was noted, with downloads dropping to around 26K by the end of March. Active users mirrored this trend, starting at approximately 1.4M and decreasing to around 920K by the quarter's close.
